Starting your new business opportunity online can become very stressful just because of the amount of time and work that goes into it. But if you want to see results you have to have a plan to get your business opportunity off and running on the right foot.

Here are a couple of suggestions that I feel will help you get your new online business opportunity started and maybe relieve a little of that initial stress.

1. A good start-up plan
The first thing you will need to do is outline a plan of attack.  Having a good plan will make the beginning phases of your new business a whole lot easier.  There are numerous things that you will need to do to start your new business, but having a good plan will help relieve some of stress.

Your plan will need to include at least the items listed below along with your written goals of where you want your new company to be 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 5 years from now.  With out goals success in any business will be much more difficult to achieve because you have not plan on how to get where you want to be.

2. Picking a good Domain name
VERY IMPORTANT. Now pay attention to these next few sentences.  The domain name you choose can pay HUGH dividends in the success of your online business opportunity

More and more businesses are being created every day, and it is becoming a lot more difficult in finding a legitimate domain (business) name. You need to try to find a domain name that is short and sweet and relates to your business or the theme of your business.

Remember, this is a very important step in setting up your online business, so take you time, give it plenty of thought, and do it right the first time.

3. Web Site Design
How do you want to present your site to a customer when they click onto your home page?  What is it that you are trying to say or relate to this customer?  This is what goes into the thought process of a web designer when they are creating a web site.

Your web site should address the following issues; WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN & WHY.  There are more web site designers out there in the internet world than you can shake a stick at.

You can join online business sites that will teach you how to build your own web site or you can pay a company to design and build one for you.  There are also internet Businessâ�� out there that if you join their internet business and promote their products they will provide you with your own web site already set up and ready to go.

Do a little research on this subject before you make your final decision.  It could save you a lot of money down the road.

4. Hosting your web site
The hosting company that you choose is going to be the company that keeps your website up and running for you.  You want to make sure that the company you choose is reputable and has a good online performance record

What you do not need is for you web site to go down and become inactive and your customers not being able to get in touch with you.  Also you need to know who to contact in the case of a problem, and to get that problem fixed ASAP.

Again take your time to do the research and find a quality Hosting company.  You can not make sales if your site is down and no one can contact you.

5. How to market the site
As soon as you have obtained your domain name and get your website up and running, you want to begin promoting (advertising) your online business opportunity.

There are numerous ways that you can market your new web site.  There are sites that will let you submit advertising for free, and then there are those that charge a fee to advertise also.

There are Classified Ads, Ezines, Solo Ads, Articles, Press Releases, Pay for Click and lots of other on line and off line ways to promote your site.

There are tons of free publications online that can down load and print that will help you get started in the right direction.  Just get started and do it.

I think you will find that the free advertising campaigns are a little slower in response but they are a lot of fun and a great way to learn how to advertise and promote your new business.  Plus the only thing it costs is your time.

6.  Goal setting
One last item that I want to stress on (sorry for the play on words) is GOALS.

Setting written goals for yourself and your new business is like driving down a highway headed for your predetermined destination when all of a sudden you see road signs and distractions that want you to pull off of the highway and make right or left turns when going straight is the only real way to arrive at your predetermined destination.

Goals are what keep you on the straight path but only if you write them down and make them attainable.  The short term goals will get you to the mid term goals which will eventually get you to your long term goals.

Write them down and look at them every morning when you get up and every night before you go to bed and you will be successful in what ever you set yourself out to accomplish.

“Hi, my name is Dennis Hampton and I am the creator and author of A Business Made Easy LLC.

“The reason that I started this MySpace profile is becausI
got sick and tired of my 8-5 job working as a Commercial Truck Manager for a Chevrolet Dealership. I just hated working for someone else because I was always the whipping boy when something went wrong in my department so that’s why I stared my own internet business online.

I created this MySpace channel because I want to meet, network, and give back to other new entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just like I was…and hopefully my story can help inspire you to discover a better alternative just like I did when I started working from home, being my own boss, and making money online.

But before I get into all of that…let me just tell you a little bit move about myself…” I was born in October 1945 in Riverside, California which is located in sunny Southern California. I have been involved in the Network Marketing and MLM Business in one way or another for over 15 years but have only really gotten back into this business within the past year.

When I was 15 years old my folks moved out to a 10 acre farm in the suburbs of Riverside and that is where my love for animals and the country started. I have lived most of my life on or around a farm since then and eventually became an entrepreneur in the farming industry and raised 100’s of acres of alfalfa, wheat and hand picked vegetables from 1970 to the mid 1980’s.

I have raised and been around almost every farm animal that you can think of and was a member of the Future Farmers of America back in 1962 and 1963 at the old Poly High School in Riverside. I went to Riverside Community College for a year or so, but my mind was just not tuned into College so I left for other adventures.

In 1965 I joined the military and I was a Security Police Officer in the Air Force for four years, and yes I did my tour in Viet Nam. I could have made a career out of the military but I did not like the idea of having to continuously moving my family from base to base so I left after my four years of service.

In 1986, I took on a new career in the Automobile business where I have become a very successful Commercial Truck Manager. The automotive business is a business that requires a great deal of not only product knowledge, but also in people skills. In my business you have to learn to deal not only with the sales and marketing end of the business but also with the customer relationship part too.

The old saying that God gave you one mouth and two ears so
shut up and listen is so very true in this business. If you can develop those skills you can become very successful in this business. But along with success comes a lot of long odd ball hours, working holidays and weekends and an ever changing business environment and upper level management team.

What makes the automotive job harder is when you have a family and do not have the quality time to spend with them when all of their friend’s families are going on vacations, Disneyland, the Zoo and all the other things that most families with kids get to enjoy. And just as a reminder do not let me forget to mention the Holidays you can not spend with your family and friends.

I am a sports fan and enjoy College football (my favorite), professional football, ice hockey, the outdoors especially camping and fishing. Now mind you all of these normally happen on the weekends and with my job at the Dealership my time to participate in these hobbies was very limited because in the automobile or truck business your work the weekends and holidays because that is when people who work during the week have the time to go shopping for a new car or truck.

Then one day in October 2006, my life changed drastically. After 20 years of battling the battle of my job, I was diagnosed with cancer of the Tonsil and Salvatore gland in my throat. Now I had a new battle to face. During the process of treatment I lost my voice for over 90 days and the doctors were not sure that it would come back so communicating with my hands became very important.

I would do a lot of typing notes to my family on the computer along with a writing tablet and pencil that was stationed in every room of the house. What the cancer did was to open my eyes and make me realized that all the money in the world was not worth the quality time that I was missing out on with my family. And if I could never speak again I was going to have to find another way to support my family and have quality time with them at the same time.

That is when I decided to again start looking into home business opportunities to find something that I could do with my hands (type) and still be able to communicate with people. The old saying was pretty powerful to me back at that moment in my life and that was “the pen is more powerful than the sword or spoken word”. After 35 radiation and 10 chemotherapy treatments, and a lot of praying, positive thinking and determination, I can now state that I am cancer free, a cancer survivor and my voice eventually did return.

So last year with a lot of searching and due diligence I found a network marketing business opportunity with unlimited possibilities and it is going to give me the time and financial support to begin working my business at home and have that quality time with my family.

With the help of this business opportunity I have now obtained an avenue to unlimited income possibilities and also many more business adventures. And best part of it all I am my own boss and I only have to report to myself.

How to Close Prospects

There are two approaches to “Closing” in sales…
Let’s call them “guided” and “voluntary”.

Using the guided close takes place during direct, person-to-person conversation whether it is over the phone or at the end of a meeting.

Your right there in conversation with your prospect and it is decision time. Your prospects have gone through a presentation, and now it is your turn to go for the sale and “close” the deal…

The majority of the leaders in MLM and Network Marketing have mastered this completely. They have a response for every objection. They have their prospects desires, wishes and emotional triggers listed down for reference of which they acquired from the previous interview with their prospect.

Now they guide their prospect down the sales path that leads to a purchase. If the net – worker is skilled at the guided close, that particular prospect is going to buy today whether they want to or not. Most of these net workers are extremely talented sales people and are normally the top producers in their network marketing company.

The second approach is the “voluntary close”, where the prospect sells them selves and makes the decision to purchase the product on their own. Both the “guided close and the voluntary close” use salesmanship and influence but the primary difference between the two is that the prospect is not put on the spot to make a decision by the sponsor directly on a phone call or at a meeting.

Many times during a guided sale, the prospect is buying for the wrong reason and it is because they give into the sales pressure which always leads to buyer’s remorse shortly after the sale. A phrase used for this instance is “A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still”.

With the “voluntary purchase” you do not want to convince the prospect to buy, you want them to convince themselves to buy and then voluntarily make the purchase when the time is right for them. Once they make their choice, it will be harder for them to have a remorseful feeling because they made their decision and it was their idea to do so.

Now the voluntary approach doesn’t mean that you are going to just act all nice and sweet and not go for the sale because you still are going to sell the heck out of them. But you are going to do it indirectly through marketing tools instead of direct personal pressure.

You want to use that drip-drip-drip marketing process over time that allows your prospects head and heart come together and make a fully committed decision about making the sale. This method of marketing could be with a new piece of great content every few days or so whether it is through email, a letter, a website, a post card or what ever other means you can use to get back in front of your customer.

Personally, I prefer the “voluntary” method in closing my sales as it just seems to be more consistent to my ideology on sales of letting the customer make the decision and that way if he is not happy down the road, then it was his decision to close the sale and was not from any pressure put on by me. That keeps our relationship still in good tack and lease open the possibility for a future sale down the road.
